A Must Read for Young Mom’s & Dad’s: Don’t Carpe Diem

If you’re a young mom or dad you really need to read this article, Don’t Carpe Diem by Glennon Melton. It is an excellent article.

Your are going to have to read the article to understand what I’m about to say.

Confession: I must admit I am that older mom that’s been telling young moms to enjoy & cherish every minute, of every day, because they go by fast. But I’m also that older mom that enjoys & cherishes every minute, and every day, of my grown children lives. In my opinion, parenting doesn’t stop when your child leaves that toddler stage and goes on to becomes an adult. There are still those moments, in each day, that have blessed my heart as I’ve watched my children become loving husbands, wives and parents. Believe me those moments never go away, no matter how old your child is. Each day offers new and exciting moments to cherish. But there are also those days that you have to step back from being a parent and leave your adult children in God’s hands. Because I truly believe that if you “Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it” (Proverbs 22:6). Enjoy those moments with your children, the good ones and the bad. Because they are what makes your life complete.
